TWI Attends the First APTA Workforce Summit

The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) hosted its first Workforce Summit in Washington, DC this August of 2024. Ken Bolding and Valeria Diaz Venegas spent three productive days networking, exchanging ideas, and attending informative sessions on recruiting, reskilling, and retaining the transit workforce.

TWI has a long-standing association with APTA. Jess Guerra, the Director of TWI, is a former APTA Career Awareness Subcommittee Chairperson and currently serves on APTA’s Workforce Development Committee. We look forward to continuing our productive relationship.
